Terms of Use

1. Not medical advice

YouBreathe is a wellness app for relaxation and breath training. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition. The NS Score, Lung Age, breath tiers and any other scores are estimates for motivation only. They are not medical measurements. Lung Age is estimated from how long you hold your breath and is not a test of lung function.

Always talk to a doctor before starting breathing exercises if you are pregnant, or have a heart, lung or blood-pressure condition, epilepsy, a history of fainting, or a panic or anxiety disorder.

2. Breathe safely

• Never practise breath holds or breathing exercises in or near water, in a bath, while driving, or while operating machinery.
• Practise sitting or lying down. Breath holds can cause dizziness or, rarely, fainting.
• Never force a breath hold. Stop immediately if you feel dizzy, light-headed, tingling, chest pain or discomfort, and breathe normally.
• You use the app at your own risk and are responsible for listening to your body.

3. Who can use YouBreathe

You must be at least 16 years old to use YouBreathe.

4. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for everything done through your account. Give us a real email address so you can recover your account. You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete Account.

5. YouBreathe Premium

Some features, such as Advanced Breathing, Triple Inhale and saving your own exercises, require a YouBreathe Premium subscription.

• Plans: Premium Yearly and Premium Monthly. Current prices are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by country.
• Free trial: the yearly plan may include a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the yearly subscription starts and you are charged.
• Payment: payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase (or when the free trial ends).
• Auto-renewal: your subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• Cancelling: manage or cancel your subscription in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Premium until the end of the period you paid for.
• Unused trial: any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
• Refunds: all purchases are handled by Apple. To request a refund, go to reportaproblem.apple.com.
• Price changes: if a price changes, Apple will tell you in advance, and where required ask for your consent.
• Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Cancel it with Apple as described above.

6. Acceptable use

Do not copy, modify, resell, reverse engineer or redistribute the app or its content, interfere with its servers, or use it for anything unlawful.

7. Ownership

The app, its name, design, animations, audio and content belong to Albyte and are protected by copyright and other laws. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app for your own, non-commercial use. Custom exercises you create are yours.

8. Apple

These Terms are between you and Albyte, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content and has no obligation to provide support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them. Where these Terms are silent, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement applies.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep YouBreathe running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change, add or remove features. We will keep your paid Premium access working for the period you paid for.

10. Limitation of liability

YouBreathe is provided "as is". To the fullest extent allowed by law, Albyte is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any injury or harm arising from using the exercises against the safety guidance above. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for YouBreathe in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be limited.

11. Ending these Terms

You can stop using YouBreathe and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will change the date at the top and, for significant changes, let you know in the app. Continuing to use YouBreathe after a change means you accept the new Terms.
